Heat and cooling for big rooms.
Goldstar heats, cools and ventilates warehouses, shops, gyms, churches and offices across Carrollton, Lewisville and the DFW Airport corridor — and the homes of the people who work in them.
In a tall building, the warm air ends up at the roof.
Big rooms are their own problem.
High ceilings, big doors and long hours. Getting heat and cool air to where people work takes different equipment — and different thinking — from an office.
- Warehouses & distributionUnit and radiant heaters, dock doors, ventilation.
- Manufacturing & shopsHeat at the bench, exhaust for fumes.
- Gyms & sports hallsLarge fans, rooftop units, humidity.
- Churches & auditoriumsBig rooms used on a schedule.
- Offices & showroomsRooftop units and split systems.

The warm air is at the roof. Your people are at the floor.
Heated air rises. In a building with a high ceiling it collects under the roof deck, while the floor stays cold and the heaters keep running. Moving that air back down is often the cheapest improvement a big building can make.
At home, too.
We look after houses in Carrollton, Lewisville, The Colony and Coppell: air conditioning, heat pumps and gas furnaces, repaired, tuned up and replaced.
Rooms with vaulted ceilings have a small version of the warehouse problem — warm air up high, cool air where you sit. Ceiling fans, return placement and a properly sized system all help.

Asked by facility managers.
Why is our warehouse floor cold when the heaters run all day?
Usually stratification. Heated air rises and collects under the roof, so the floor stays cold while the heaters keep running. Destratification fans, better heater placement, dock door changes and a thermostat at working height are the usual fixes.
Do destratification fans help in summer?
Yes. Large slow fans move air across people, which makes a hot warehouse, gym or shop feel cooler without cooling the whole volume of the building.
Can you work around our shifts?
Yes. We plan commercial work so operations keep running, including early starts and weekend work where the job needs it.
Do you work on homes as well?
Yes. Air conditioning, heat pumps and gas furnaces for houses in Carrollton, Lewisville, The Colony, Coppell and nearby.
Does Goldstar do finishes or painting?
No. Facility Finishes is part of the business name, not the trade. Goldstar does heating, ventilation and air conditioning only.
Which areas do you cover?
